Smart, Sweet & Savory: ASNC2018 Is Cardiology's Most Delicious CME Option

Yum! ASNC2018's brand new “Walk & Learn: Tastes of San Francisco” sessions combine smart discussion of nuclear cardiology's hot topics with San Francisco's sweet and savory attractions.
During these unique CME/CE programs, you'll join ASNC Past Presidents Robert C. Hendel, MD, MASNC, and Jeffrey A. Leppo, MD, MASNC, for a conversation about “How to Develop, Promote, Sustain and Maintain a Cardiac Imaging Service: Focus on Optimal Use of Imaging and Appropriate Use” as you enjoy a guided tour of San Francisco's iconic Chinatown and North Beach/Little Italy neighborhoods.

Served up along with the conversational feast will be a variety of delicious treats:

  • In Chinatown, you'll enjoy a tea tasking at Vital Tea Leaf; sample dim sum; watch as fortune cookies are made; view the city's temples; and sample dishes at top chef Martin Yan's Begoni Bistro
  • In North Beach/Little Italy, you'll visit the award-winning chocolatier Cioccolato and the city's beloved Stella Pastry; relish the jazz and blues playing at the Beat Generation hangouts; and sample Mona Lisa Restaurant's incredible pizzas, wine and beer.

The Walk and Learn tours will be offered twice during ASNC2018: from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on both Friday, Sept. 7, and Saturday, Sept. 8. Each session's discussion will be tailored to the group's interests and questions.

To ensure an interactive, collegial experience, attendance at each program is limited to the first 25 attendees who sign up.
